Epiphany Productions’ 13th Annual San Francisco Trolley Dances were a great success! This completely admission-free festival that has been dubbed “art for citizens” and “a gift to the City” by past attendees kicked off Oct. 15th with an exciting program in the Castro and SOMA neighborhoods. Audience Comments
“Every year you manage to get better and better! So beautiful, so entertaining, so important! Thank you for one of the highlights of our year!”
“Really interesting performances. I especially appreciated how related they all were to the spaces in which they were performed. I also liked how relevant they felt with current problems in the city.”
“It was my first time. Each performance was unique culturally and very in tune with location. The end performance by EPSDT broke my heart open with pride and joy for my city, my home, San Francisco. The tour all led up to this final piece. My heart was open and warmed up to be able to break open. Thank you thank you thank you.”
“I saw Trolley Dances last year for the first time. This year was even better. Really appreciated the attention to race, class, indigenous and cultural paradigms. Overall, the diversity this year was great.”
“I felt as if San Francisco was telling her story.”
