Thank you for joining us for the 14th annual
San Francisco Trolley Dances!
We traveled through SoMa and Sunset to witness seven stellar site-specific performances.
Chaksam-Pa Tibetan Dance and Opera Company
The Embodiment Project
little seismic dance company
Hope Mohr Dance
Epiphany Dance Theater
In tandem with Chaksam-Pa’s performance, Tibetan monks from the Sera monastery in India completed a sand painting of the mandala of Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Compassion, in the window of the Desai Matta Gallery at CIIS. Work on the sand painting took place over the week before Trolley Dances and the public viewed the painting during gallery hours and throughout the weekend of Trolley Dances.
